I help founders and brands to carve out their niche, showcase their personality, and make an impact in today’s fast-moving social landscape. ​With over 7 years experience in digital marketing, brand storytelling, and visual content, I’ve worked across agency, in-house teams, behind the scenes at TikTok and as an independent brand owner myself. From luxury fashion labels to founder-led aesthetic clinics, I’ve developed social strategies, built engaged communities, and crafted creative campaigns that bring brands to life online.

my background in social

My journey into socials began 12 years ago when I set up my first Instagram account to share my very own fashion brand, Ems the Label. What started as a small hobby turned into a close-knit community of 35k followers, also building relationships with a host of micro-influencers who supported in fuelling the content stream. Running this business full time post A-levels taught me so much about connecting with people, building a brand from scratch, and navigating the ever-evolving world of social media.

​Two years on, I was ready for a new adventure, so I took the plunge and studied Business with Marketing in London. From there, I entered the in-house world, starting at an influencer marketing agency working on campaigns across fashion and beauty, spanning both both organic and paid.​ Then, I moved over to Bluebella, a UK-based lingerie brand, where I developed their first influencer strategy and managed creative content. I spent my days ideating digital campaigns, briefing shoots, and making engaging social-first content. It was here that I really got my teeth into the creative side of social media.

Next I joined TikTok, working within the Lemon8 function, where I focused on paid ads strategy, creator partnerships, and TikTok-native video content. TikTok really is its own beast — organic or paid, you’ve got to think creatively to make an impact.​ Most recently, I went back to the startup world as Social Media Manager for wellness company W-Wellness, where I was responsible for defining their very first social media strategy, creating the content pipeline, and shaping their brand image across platforms.

In my spare time I’m also a nano creator on TikTok and Instagram (@theemsedit), where I share snippets of my own life and creative projects with my community. It’s always been about creating content that feels real and relatable, whether it’s for my own channel or a brand I’m working with.​ I’m all about telling stories that resonate and connect with audiences, especially when it comes to founder-led and employee-centric brands.
